Lego Obsession

Today we were invited to a Lego Birthday Party at Summer Swim Academy. This was our first time to visit the facility and find out what it was all about. Pretty cute set up and we might try some swim lessons soon.
The party was for Major, one of Kayce's old T-Ball buddies.  Julie, his mom did a great job planning the party and setting up all the Lego activities.
Since the party was in the morning, she had a breakfast bar set up!  Like I said, good planning!! Kayce got a Lego t-shirt to wear after swimming.  She had a building table with a take home birthday character for each kid.  Kayce spent some time there making a go cart vehicle for his Lego guy.  They got to swim and there were heaters for the adults and kids to warm up under. I met a lady whom I had met at  another birthday party last year.  She remembered Kayce and commented on how much he had grown.

They also had a candy bar with chocolate Lego bricks and characters. She had the big lolly pops with a label that read Happy Birthday Major, and candy bars with custom labels.  After the pizza and cake, the kids got to take out their candy buzz on the Lego Pinata.  Kayce got a few good hits in and candy started falling out.  The kids kept taking turns till the loot was out and then pandemonium started as they all went for as much as they could get.  I think that worried my husband who agrees that Kayce eats too much candy as it is. Maybe he won't remember.  They also got a take home bag with a plaster Lego man that they could paint.  It was a great time and Major enjoyed all the presents and playing with all his buddies. Here are some pictures from the day.
